Sophie is a local girl living in Gosport with her mum, dad, sister and two brothers. In July 2011 Sophies family received the devastating news that we all fear! Sophie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma of her right fibula, in laymans terms a cancerous tumour in her leg. Sophie is just 14 years old.

Sophie is currently undergoing Chemotherapy with operations scheduled for the end of September. Sophie may lose her leg or she may lose her life!!!

The Piam Brown ward at Southampton General Hospital treat children suffering with Cancer. Thanks to the dedication of all the staff children like Sophie get the help they need.
